Denver's songs that he sang about his state of origin encouraged many to move to Colorado. G. Today, he is seen as the embodiment of Colorado by people all over the world. When you encounter people from different countries, such as New Zealanders, and they declare "I am from Colorado" and they immediately respond with Oh John Denver. Brown said. Take Me Home Country Roads, co-written by Bill Danoff and Denver after his brief involvement with folk bands it was Denver's debut Top 10 solo hit.
